I pulled over to catch a picture of the show going on in the clouds. That's when I saw the light show going on way down below in the valley. A little farm was shining in the sun with shadows covering the hills all around. Both the clouds and the little farm house tell a story, but actually it is the same story isn't it? "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5.

This spot is on Highway 97, after you turn off of Blewett pass headed to Ellensburg. It is just past the cool barn. There is an unmarked pull-out there which is well worth the stop. Do you stop at those viewpoints along the highways and byways? We usually don't want to take the time, but I do have 34,006 photos on my phone so we must stop some of the time! Can anybody top that?

I listened to "Cavalleria Rusticana"  by … (Gary says The Young Rascals. He's helping me write this tonight.) Actually it was Pietro Mascagni. It was really pretty, but the good guy gets killed in a duel in the end. There is some music you would recognize in there. I'm not sure where we have heard these before, maybe at the symphony or on public radio, or maybe just in old cartoons.

Are you sending out Christmas cards this year? Maybe you're writing them tonight, like I need to do!
Enjoy!
Kristi

Haha, okay, I have a new favorite. It is this one. I want to be there. It draws me to the house in the deep valley. A perfect place from which to enjoy the sky and clouds. TerryMcC. xoxx
