I always try to get up and catch the aspens when they are in their peak colors. Such a feast for the eyes on a pretty fall afternoon! Some years they have already come and gone, sometime I get lucky! Where do you go to find the best fall colors? And when do you get out to see them?
Here we are on December 10th and I'm talking about fall colors. Well, this is what caught my attention this morning. I have gone through so many of the photos I've been wanting to paint, or I've gone through 46 of them! Four more paintings left. I'm not sure what it will be tomorrow, but I hope that it goes smoothly.
How are you all doing. I've been seeing so many posts and pictures of the flooding. We didn't get rain today fortunately so maybe this atmospheric river is on it's way out. Let's hope so.
I'm keeping this short tonight, because I know we are all busy with our holiday plans. I tried three different operas today before settling in on one. "Il trittico (The Triptych)", by Giacomo Puccini. Puccini's music is nice to listen to and this was interesting because it was three separate short operas with totally different story lines.
Stay safe, warm and dry out there,
Sending hugs
Kristi
