Here is something you may want to consider. Now is the time to think of gifting a piece of original art this Christmas. Each painting is unique and filled with the joy I felt while creating it. Snag one of these little jewels while they are still available!

There is something very special about watching a dog run free with reckless abandon. When the sky is warmed by the sun setting low on the horizon casting gorgeous colors as it goes down, a walk in your favorite place is the perfect ending to the day. And if there is an oak tree to run around, all the better! Do you have a favorite off leash place where you can run your dog? Ah, if we all had 5 or 10 acres so we could let them roam. Tails wagging and tongues hanging out, with eyes sparkling and a thank you in their heart. They show their joy so easily, don't they?

This was a fun painting, getting that sky to blend from the blue violet to pinkish to peachey to gold. And as a chef's kiss, I decided to add the two pups running full out chasing birds. I hope you like it.

Today's opera was "Norma" by Vincenzo Bellini. I was so into the painting I didn't really pay to much attention to the story line today. Sometimes I make up words I think they are singing, like "Strudel, we need more strudel!"

Thank you for visiting today. I look forward to chatting with you every evening.
Sending a big smile and hug to you,
Kristi
