In October we were in Mazama, and we had walked out to the bridge to see the golden colors as the sun was going down. There were two other women painting on the rocky shoreline as we looked down the Methow River. It was all so pretty, until something told me to turn around. Looking up the river from under the bridge, I caught the sun as it was peeking through the tops of the trees. It was a gentle reminder to always turn around and take one last look.
This painting is matted to fit an 11" x 14" frame.
