This autumn in the Methow Valley the river is running very low. In fact there's more of the rocky "beach" then there is water. We were treated to a gorgeous color show with the sun spotlighting the yellow trees, and long shadows being cast across the rock bar. This has got to be the most beautiful time of year in one of the most beautiful places I know.
