Morning Reflections

Driving in to the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, the sun was still pretty low on the horizon and the colors of sky and water were the most breathtaking Tiffany blue or robin's egg blue. A golden horizon was peeking through under a curtain of blue and grey clouds. Stunningly beautiful! As we drove through we found 200 or more tundra swans scattered through the waterways, their swan calls filling the morning air. Rounding a corner we came upon the scene of this painting. Majestic and pure, grand and calm, my heart stopped to see those beautiful trees with their long reflections on the water. 

This painting is matted and framed in a light birch color wood frame.
