We went out to catch the sunrise and paint in plein air. As the sky moved from dark to the hint of light, the mist was settling in over the water with Mt. Hood in silhouette. I had such a feeling of peace and quiet contentment. I also felt the joy of being able to witness this new day being born. Nature never disappoints.
