There is a line in a poem by Dylan Thomas which reads "I labour by singing light." I took that for a title of this painting, because for me, it explains my work as an artist. I labor to take a flat piece of white paper, and to put my emotions, my mood, my deepest soul onto that paper so that the light "sings." My hope is that this painting takes you someplace very special.
This painting is framed in a Florentine Grey Metal Frame which measures 19.375" x 15.5"
